Research Fellow in Time-Resolved Photoelectron Spectroscopy (Experimental)

You will develop time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy capabilities in Southampton. The project will utilise UV and IR probes of chemical dynamics in our lab in Southampton and XUV probes through collaboration with the Artemis Facility in the UK and the ELI-Beamlines facility in the Czech Republic. You will be responsible for leading advanced photoelectron spectroscopy experiment as part of a collaborative team. You will coordinate the analysis of the data and work with our theoretical collaborators (Adam Kirrander, Oxford, Zdenek Masin, Prague) on the interpretation. 

To be successful you will have a PhD (or within six months of completion) or equivalent professional qualifications and experience in Physical Chemistry or Chemical Physics and a demonstrable understanding and knowledge of ultrafast laser technology and spectroscopy.
